(Alistair R. Taylor  - ART)

After winning several competitions Alistair had paintings published in newspapers aged 12.

Through his teenage years, banished to the garage to shield his family from the aromas of oil paint, and turpentine, Alistair continued to develop his painting approach.  With many hours spent avoiding maths homework, further competition wins followed.

Studying ’Business’ at Bath University he sold pictures to fund extra evenings out. He gained a large studio, shared with seven professional artists and submitted pieces to exhibitions.

But as a career in business management took off paintbrushes gathered dust.  Family arrived and thrived.

20 years on, walking across a coastal cliff-top as the sun lifted to create a day rich in colours, Alistairs enthusiasm was re-ignited and painting re-commenced.

Today Alistair’s striking pictures are displayed in homes and offices, in the UK and overseas. Some are drawn to the colours and striking forms, others by a new perspective on scenes they know and love.
