Chesil Highway

By Portland smooth pebbles are up to 5cm and pebble mounds reach 15m. It's a noisy, crunchy climb and decent. Feet are quickly consumed by the slippage of stones. A place formerly of shipwrecks now invites sea anglers and tourists. 29km long, pebble sizes become smaller and at the far end turn to pea sized.
